Just saw a sneak peek at poet EJ Steven's latest cover for her collection, Shadows of Myth and Legend.
It's fantastic!
There are so many exciting and provocative elements of this photo! From your pearl-like toes peaking out from beneath the gown to your profile, tilted downward as if you're thinking of the lover you've vanquished and sent to his grave, it's all very suggestive and compelling. The colors are also arresting, almost as if it's a negative that was "colorized." It really looks fantastic and I can't wait to get my copy! (Maybe this one will be autographed...!)
